Hi,
I am thinking of getting a MIO 168 PDA with tomtom navigator 5.
What I would like to know is can the average speed settings be changed so they are more relevant for truck driving?
Also if I buy it with just UK maps, can European maps be added at a later date if and when required or do I have to get everything I want to start with when I install it all?
Thanks in advance. |

No they can't be altered. It's a major problem for anything other than a very small car. Even when set to 'Fastest' the routing will often use unclassified, narrow, and sometimes unmade, roads.

My advice on Navigator 5 would be - check out the Navigon section of this forum.
Some people are not too happy with it.
Hope this helps. _________________ Thanks,

Chris, read the post, only joking, but he is refering to TomTom 5, not Navigon 5 |
