couple of probs with TTN5.0 & TTN5.1

this happened before AND since the upgrade...

if I leave TT running while the PDA is turned off when I restart the PDA TT is still running, but hangs, yet I can still use other programs by pressing the buttons
only way to fix it is a soft reset

also, M49 (a straightforward Motorway with no junctions other than at either end), been down it twice this last week and both times, when I got about half way along, the GPS jumped into a field then hops around the screen for about 1 mile then it returns to the M49... weird

anyone else get this ?

I got a similar position indicator "hop around" on the M6 last night. It only happend for a few seconds when the sattellite coverage indicator changed as more sats were detected. I just put it down to the mio 168 being a little slow in calculating the position at motorway speeds.

The reason for the 'jumping' on TTN at present is that the Americans are in the process of software updates to satellites. This may cause abberrations for a while. This has been ongoing for a couple of weeks and may well continue. It takes a while for the sats to readjust and recalibrate.
