Can any Forum member please recommend a suitable charger for my iPAQ 2210 that I can mount on my (12v electrical supply) motorcycle?

Rather than hack the Arkon mount that I use in the car, I would like something more subtle such as a small in-line charger; I don't need a mount because the iPAQ sits in the transparent pocket on the top of my tank bag.

For info; TT5 spoken instructions delivered via the iPAQ are wonderfully clear on the bike thanks to an excellent Autocom intercom that I purchased. The iPAQ is connected to the Autocom - which is easily the best bike intercom I have come across - via nothing more expensive than a three quid cable terminated with 3.5mm jacks.

Something like "MiniSync" that terminates into a usb connector, which can then be inserted into a 12v cigar lighter charger purchased from same manufacturer is one of the simplist charging setups you're likely to find.

You'd simply then have to make up a lead with a 12v female cigar lighter socket wired into the battery.

Thanks for the suggestion, Pete, but I already have one of these which I use for keeping my 2210 charged when I go on frequent extended business trips (i.e I use the USB connection but leave the ciggy lighter plug at home)

What I was hoping for is a circuit that looks like this; two ring connectors for the battery posts - twin wire - a small in line 12v to 3.7v converter - twin wire - a pukka 2210 connector.

Looks like I'm going to have to make one myself, I guess!

Thanks again anyway.
