Medion Navigator 4.2 v 4.4

I bought my Medion MD95000 (Mio 168) about nine months ago in Aldi and it came with Medion Navigator 4.2

My dad bought one from Kwiksave last week after being impressed by mine while in the backwoods of Yorkshire for a wedding recently, and it's the same machine but has a different MD number (MD 95427 or something like that) and it comes with Navigator 4.4

Anyone know if there are any differences in the hardware (apart from the fact that the software comes on a mini-SD card with a clip on adaptor that lets it be used in a normal SD slot), and what has been changed in the software?

They now call it the MD95459 and have it for sale on their website also

The main difference I can see is that you only get the UK maps in the box, whereas I got the maps for the whole of Western Europe. The maps are compatible, though, so my Dad can have them when he goes off to France and Spain

I can't see any difference in the software yet, other than a change to the logos on the splash screen
