TomTom for Tungsten T5 needs upgrade

I am a newish user having bought the above in late May.

I now see that the 2005 upgrade became available early May, so was I sold a pup as Ii got 2004 maps?

Can anyone tell me if it is usual to have to reboot the Palm if it is ever turned off before it will recognise the Bluetooth satellite receiver again?

Also where can I get UK or continental safety camera data?
