Pairing 2 ipaqs with one bluetooth gps

I have a Polstar PBT-111 which seems to work well with my Ipaq 3870's. However, I keep having to set up a partnership each time I go from using one to the other. I am using the code 0000 for both Ipaqs. Can someone explain in step by step order how I can set this system up so that I don't have what I believe is a conflict using 0000. Maybe if I set up one ipaq as the HOME using code 0000 and the other as WORK using 0000, might sort the problem. However don't want to mess with too many settings as I might get in a real mess. Any step by step help in very basic talk much appreciated:)
