HI-303III position when stationary

Using this CF-GPS with two softaware packages writen for soaring (Glide Navigator II and SeeYou Mobil) the displayed glider position is not stationary when you are not moving (track to steer jumps around).

If you call up the GPS infomation the Lat/Lon does not change but the speed shows 0.01 mph and a very small average speed.

The number of sats is alot more than my other gps (Garmin II+),
is this normal for this type of device?

(this effect is not a problem with TTN 3)

GPS has a position accuracy of 15 m for 95% of the time. So a wobbling around of your position when stationary is normal. The street navigation programs mostly filter that away - which is not always a good thing.
