I have purchased route66 birtain for symbian phones brand new from carphone warehouse and lent it to my brother to try, he somehow managed to wipe my mmc and there is no hard copy on disk. I contacted R66 support but they will not do anything for me because my receipts were shredded in error. I have sent numerous emails and even though they personally sent me the activation code less than 2 months ago and they offered to restore the software to the mmc they still will not help due to the lack of receipts. I have now purchased a copy of r66 on cd via ebay but cannot get it to run because I am not sure of the layout of the files in my mmc, ie what is the structure of the files and folder headings.
Any help would be appreciated but I know that I will not in the future waste hard earned money on any of their software.
I have now had to resort to running TT5 on my ipaq 4150 and trying to set up the royaltek BT gps as I mentioned in a seperate thread on here.

I can't believe they're insisting on the original receipt. Whenever I've been in similar situations all that has been required is required is proof of purchase. CPW keep all customer details on their computers so you should be able to get a copy of your order from the store you purchased it from. Otherwise, an extract from your credit card or bank statement showing the date, amount and vendor should be sufficient (assuming you didn't use cash of course).
