I must be lucky , now that I have overcome the initial problem of not seeing installed POI's , its working fine on my Dell Axim X30.
I start CP from the Today type interface then click the Navigate button and all works fine .
I can now turn of the navigators sound whilst still getting the warnings via CP.
One thing I did have to do was turn off the display for the POI's in CP as it was flashing very badly , but this feature used to annoy me anyway as it blocked visability of part of the route (and often obscured the POI) so its a bonus for me.

Hi Guys and Girls,

I just decided to bite the bullet and download Checkpoint 5 on my Ipaq HX4700 running TTN5, and now I am deleting it as it has caused me to soft reset 5 times on the trot after opening it.

This is by no way me havng a go at the lovel people who put this software together for us at no cost, as I have been running Checkpoint for a couple of years now on TT3 and it has been fantastic, my clean driving license is tetament to this fact.

I am looking forward to hearing that this program is fully integrated into TTN5 and all PDAs and wish all you who are using it trouble free at the moment the best, I am very jealous.

Just noticed CheckPOInt 5.0.2 has been released today.

http://checkpoint.oabsoftware.nl/

Release notes
Version 5.0.2
Solved the remainder of the instability problems.
Enhanced the installation procedure.
The plug-in for the Today screen is now automatically activated, and uninstalling CheckPOInt now removes all installed files.
It's no longer possible to synchronize when TomTom Navigator is running. This was done because synchronizing while TTN is running sometimes leads to file locking problems.
