Newbie, navman iCN520/Garmin Quest

As stated I am new to GPS/sat.nav. I have a Triumph Tiger motorcycle and would like to fit a GPS unit. I've narrowed my choice to the above 2. I favour the Navman (larger screen) but I want to be sure before I spend my hard earned.

I know that the Garmin is waterproof unlike the Navman. However, this is not a problem.

The Navman is about the same price (UK prices) as the Quest so that is not a problem either.

Jackn,

I use the 510 on my GoldWing in several European countries with no trouble but I have a radio system that the voice prompts are plugged into from the headphone socket via a wired FM Modulator.
I know people stick it into the top of their tank bags and use a earpiece for the voice prompts. I'm lucky that I can use a modified screen mount that is bolted onto my dash but I'm not familiar with your bike.
