TT2 Navigator update rate

How often does TTN2 update the GPS position on the PDA device (iPac 397000) - TomTom tells me it is every 15-20 seconds which is pretty useless

Assuming you are using NMEA and haven't reprogrammed your receiver you will get position updates every second. How does TomTom tell you it is every 15 seconds?

That's what TomTom support advised me - what you're saying is that the on screen display updates every second, right? Sounds much more useable ...
