|
|
Would be grateful if any existing Brodit owners can give me advice please.
Just received a Brodit angle mount for a Honda civic, and a passive holder for a dell axim (thanks GPSforless- excellent service).
The car mount has a blank ABS plastic plate which the passive mount should fix to - no holes or adhesive.
The pda holder has 4 holes drilled in the back and is supplied with screws.
What is the best way to fix these together ?
Drill holes in the blank ABS plate or buy an adhesive mount to sandwich between the two.
Am a bit reluctant to drill unless necessary.
I'm surprised the instructions dont clarify this as the 2 are obviously designed to be used together.
Many thanks. |

I usually attach the mount to the proclip using double sided tape and then pre-drill holes for the four screws. This makes it much easier to assemble.
There should have been instructions in the kit, but have a look on the Brodit website www.brodit.com and you should find instructions for your kit.

Hi MJ_Devon,
I use the Brodit Move Clip system (213005), which allows you to swap holders. You can also remove the holder and leave just the ProClip in place, for security when you leave your car.

I had not spotted this item on the Brodit website. It seems to be just what I want so I have placed an order :D _________________ Various TomToms, Garmin eTrex Legend, GPSMAP 60CSx, Oregon 550t, Forerunner 405 |
