Etrex Legend C Mapping

Hi all,
I have sent a number of maps from Metroguide Europe across to my Etrex, but when I ask it to find a street name which I know is shown on the map it does not find it. Am I being a bit thick and doing something wrong?

Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi all,
Sorted problem. Spoke with Garmin Tech. It appears I need street navigator software to actually read the street names. At the moment the etrex is just for completing tracks and waypoints etc.
