PC won't recognise GO

For a couple of weeks now I have not been able to connect my GO to my PC.

Was starting to get worried because I couldn't update the software or speed cams.

Today I realised If I disconnect the GO from the mains charger it works.

Any one else noticed this?

I cant get XP to see mine at all, i have to use a usb storage device in which to plug my sd card into, then it works fine!.
