GPS SLEEVE & IPAQ 3715 NO SIGNAL

OK. I'm a little new at this but here's where I'm at. I have a new NAIS gps sleeve with a rx-3715. I really doesn't matter at this point what gps software I'm running. (I-golf & Mapopolis if you must know). I've downloaded three of your shareware testers and get the same. GPS Turner, GlobalPoint, GSPTweak. I can auto set or manual to com7 at 4800 in NMEA and get the gps data stream. I was told it was a SIRF chip but have been unable to get any of those data readings in any settings with the shareware. This maybe part of the problem, I loaded Winfast Navigator but it will not show the com port the gps is on in the pull down menu. Shows all other ports. Would like to get that working. I can't or don't know how to load the gps on a different com port or it may be the default on the slot?

What I have read here tells me a hand full but no one has this receiver that I have but plenty have had rx-37xx's problems

I have left it out in the clear for at least 30 minutes with cold starts and will not read any sat's. I have tried removing all other software. I do have a BT keyboard I've tried loaded and un-loaded.

So far what I've found here:
Wrong driver, (waiting to hear from MFG).
RF interference, (have post need more info antistatic between sleeve & IPAQ, is this inside or out?)
Does first time take more than 30 minutes?
Do I need to set up a BT connection for a gps sleeve?
