Compatibility of the maps between TTG 300 and TTN 3 ?

Hy everybody,
I need some help. I have a Tom Tom navigator 3 with the maps of all europe(west side ) ) and i also bought a Tom Tom Go 300 and I want to know if there is any possibility to use the maps from tom tom navigator 3 at the tom tom go 300.
Or if there is a software or something to convert the maps??

Navigator 5 maps of Westside Europe will work with the TomTom Go 300 when they are bought as an upgrade to Nav 5 UK, but the Navigator 3 maps won't

If you upgrade your UK Nav 3 through TomTom you'll receive TomTom Nav 5 Westside Europe >> http://www.tomtom.com/shop/upgrade.php?action=pda&TT=1a4b511a443f77a4f082e14233bd9422 but I'm sure whether the Maps they will send you will work on your Go 300.

It's all a bit of a mess really! Perhaps worth contacting TomTom directly and then waiting a while for a response
