Incorrect, the C550 is a Windows SmartPhone and requires SmartPhone version. CoPilot Live | SmartPhone 1 does work on the C550 as we have had several customers confirm it (and I should be able to confirm shortly myself) however, some text is a little squished on-screen.
We're working on resolving this in future updates. Unfortunately manufacturers and Microsoft moved the goal posts by supporting a different screen resolution, and developers only usually code to what they know is the standard, so unfortunately it's caught a lot of companies untoward, not just GPS companies! |

| I have just acquired a T-Mobile SDA11 as an insurance replacement for an SDA which I bought as a package with CoPilot 5. I have the same "squished text" issues as C550 Users, so presumabaly the screen resolution is the same. Was there ever a fix to enable v5 text to appear as it should? |

Could it be due to it running Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition http://www.trustedreviews.com/article.aspx?art=1904, rather than the more usual smartphone software? I can't say for definate - because I don't have any experience with them. |

howdy
been using TomTom on my spv c550 for a year with no problems at all
just had to adjust the screen resolution and all was fine
easily enough done with regedit
