Can't get PC to see Tomtom GO 700

I cannot get my PC to see my GO 700 when I connect it. I don't know what I am doing wrong. Any thoughts?

Turn the mouse 90 degrees to the right then it will be able to see the TOMTOM.

Even if the PC can't see the Tom Tom, it seems the Tom Tom can see the satellites. I am lucky to get more than one bar indoors!
