TT5 LOST IT MAPS........ HELP

Today I went to a customers, switched off tomtom (hp ipaq) and when I got back in the car, restarted Tomtom and it said the no maps installed !

I did a hard reset, a soft reset, took out the CF card, put the CF card back in but each time I ran tomtom, it said no maps installed.

HELP!!!!!!!

I am installing the maps again but am now worried this could happen when i am in the middle of no where !

Removing the card and replacing it usually works, but once I had to remove the card - then soft reset with no card - then replace card. Soft reset with the card in the slot would not fix the problem.

The other problem is the card is damaged or corrupt.

Can you read any other files on the CF card?

Try reformatting the card & reinstalling the maps...

Keep the map CDs with you ust in case
