I can't help thinking that the name Fugawi is too much like " Where the Fugawi?"
Sorry, but a quick question. Has anyone got the Fugawi software up and running with their Mitac 168?
I have the program installed and can export maps and view them which is great. However, I can't seem to get the GPS to work. I guess it might be the settings and com connection. But I don't know how to get it to work at the moment. |

If you can select port COM2 (or better SP2) in Fugawi then it should work. NMEA 4800 or 9600, depending on the model. _________________ Lutz

COM2 doesn't seem to work and neither does COM1.
It seems that none of the COM ports make a difference so I think something else must be wrong. The only protocol available is NMEA 0183 which I am not sure about.
I was hoping to take a chunk of the map on an SD card for use next week whilst on holiday. It seems a shame that I can't get the GPS to work with it. |

I still haven't been able to get the GPS recognised in Fugawi.
Worse still the device decided to reset itself last week which I wonder if I somehow triggered.
I can synchronise with the PC to get the PDA data back but I have lost all my favourites in Miomap. This is a real pain as I had built up quite a comprehensive listing of customers exact locations which I will now have to start again. |

If you have it selected to NMEA 0183 baud 4800 on SP 2 and you cannot get a GPS signal, check that Active sync is not running on your PDA.
I beleive that if it is running it stops Fugawi from getting a GPS fix |
