Tom Tom Go 700

Hi,
Just upgraded to a 700 from a classic. Nice bit of kit, however, I've got a couple of questions:

Has anybody tried adapting a classic external ariel mount to fit the 700? I've looked at the thread describing how to change a 300, but without taking it all to bits, there does not seem to be enough room or a pre drilled hole in the 700 plate for the ariel socket to fit into.

Currently have a hands free kit in the car. Once the phone connects to the Go it disables the hands free and presumably re-routes the calls through the unit. Is there anyway of turning the handsfree option off, but keep the traffic services etc?

Your thoughts would be appreciated!

Just had the mounts in bits. I pleased to say that the same pricipal applies to the 300 mount - it can be converted following the above thread.
