I have bought a brand new Typhoon Myguide 3500+ Intel 300mhz etc etc and im trying to install tomtom on it. I have it all setup and running on the GB maps but im having a problem. The GPS on the system is on COM2, but tomtom only shows ports com1, com3, usb, irda and bluetooth.

How do i use my gprs on tomtom when its plugged into Com2?

The gprs is internal

thanks, i need this ASAP!

Hi

I have just successfully installed TTN5 onto my Typhoon 3500 PDA and had no problems. It receives a GPS signal within 20 seconds.

Selected Other NMEA GPS Receiver in Preferences and selected the option for receiver on SP2 which I guess is Serial Port 2 (COM2). Baud rate of 4800.

Worked no problems. The software is a lot more accurate than Falk and even the GPS signal strength works on the PDA unlike many other PDAs.
