Connect the GPS first,
Then the Headset afterwards,
Call quality is degraded, but it works, (On my 9500 anyway),

I asked the question a while ago (can't remember if it was here or modaco). I got told the 6600 couldn't support concurrent BT connections.
But I'd love to hear otherwise.
Still waiting for my TT order, so can't try it out.... |

Hey,
I have replied on here before about multiple BT connections on a Nokia 6600. To my knowledge it is possible with a small application called Bluetooth Enhancer, which I tried on the 6600 with a genuine TomTom receiver & it worked well.
The 6630 I have no is capable of two connections straight from the box.
Try first without any other apps to make this possible. Pair up the headset first and make sure it is working ok. Then turn on the GPS receiver & let that pair also, before opening TomTom.
Make sure the headset & GPS are set to authorised in the BT menu of the phone and their pass codes are already entered. If not do this first one by one.
If this doesn't work email me & I shall mail you the Enhancer app to try before you give up on it.

Have you got the 6600 or the 6630? As it works on my 6630 no problems what so ever. _________________ TOMTOM MOBILE 5

Jayd,
I saw your discussion about the Bt 338 Bt receiver on the pocketgpsworld forum.
I 've the same "equipment" as yours
So:
Nokia 6630
Globalsat Bt 338
Tomtom mobile 5 ver 4.43
I can make the pairing between the two devices, but there's no way to make TT5 see the globalsat receiver.
I tried many different patches, and other Gps softwares too ( like route 66) but .....nothing.
There's no way to make this two devices became friends.
Did you use some particular sequence or patch?
I would be very glad you could help me
Thanks and Regards |
