Smooth Scrolling / Jerky Scrolling

Having upgraded from TT3 to TT5 I ran it up for the first time.

I was immediately impressed as the update speed while navigating was a lot faster (updates to the map/location in TT3 would be about every 0.5 seconds and jerky) TT5 was doing it more like 5 or 10 times per second.....really great and smooth which made going round roundabouts brilliant.

After a while my entire XDAII locked up and I had to do a cold boot.

After I reinstalled TT5 the update speed is now back to 0.5 seconds and very jerky and I don't know of any way to change it.

Anyone had a similar problem ? or know of a way to change the update speed ?

Hi,

Mine went from smooth to jerky after installing some POI's.

I now find that if I use the "Hide POI" option in Change Preferences, it goes smooth again, while if I then hit "Show POI", it goes jerky again.

So, for now i've just had to leave the POI's hidden. While this is not ideal, at least you can still navigate to them and use the "warn when approaching POI" functions.
