have multiple maps at the same time?

I want to route from a place in US to a place in Canada. But US and Canada is at different maps. It I use US map, I can't routo a Canada destiny because it's not on map, if I switch to canada map, I can;t choose the start point because it's not in canada map.

Is there any way to have both US(only need one state) and Canada(also only one province) map loaded at the same time?
