TTN5 Will not run

I have just upgraded from TTN 3 to 5. After the initial problems installing the maps which I sorted out throught the TomTom website I cannot get Navigator to run. I keep getting the message "No valid GPS position". I get this even though I have at least 6 satellite bars showing and a numeric position. The satelite bars keeps changing so I presume my GPS receiver is working.
I contacted TomTom for help last Sunday via their web site but so far no one has got back to me.

I have uninstalled and re-installed TTN5 but this has made no difference. As far as I am concerned I now have a programme that is useless.

I have tried as someone else suggested in another post, selecting the wired GPS but this didn't work.

I have an IPAQ 5550 with a Tom Tom BT GPS.

I would be grateful for any help.

Try

Tomtom's GPS v2.07 will work fine with Memory-Map and Tomtom both installed - and it's a free download from the www.pocketgps.com website site
