My 2210 is now around 6 months old. Recently when I come to use it the battery is absolutely dead and tt3 is wiped out, needing a re-install. Also during re-install it keeps resetting itself so takes several attempts to re-install.

I was wondering how long these batteries should last? I thought maybe at least a year, or is that optimistic?

I use my 2210 purely for tt3 and nothing else, so it's really annoying to find the battery dead after a couple days off work. Charging overnight doesn't seem to help either.

Ollie.

I've had my 2210 at least 2 yrs and its still going strong on the original battery and I use mine every day heavily.

Similarly, mine is nearly 2 years old and seems fine. If you leave it unused for about 3 weeks it will discharge to the extent that it will hard reset and you will lose all your programs. Sprite backup will enable you to get it all back in a couple of minutes when you have recharged the battery.

Yeah the iPAQ 2210 not just the batter has certainly lasted a long time, its still a really good mid range PDA. I have not personally had many problems with the batteries in the iPAQ.

Just a thought but do you leave the bluetooth enable when you switch your ipaq off as this will quickly drain the battery as your ipaq will be continually searching for a connection.
