medion 95900 camera database

Hi all new to this just purchased the 95900 from Aldi is it possible to enter the safety camera database to the poi that comes already installed with the system or do i need to purchase extra software?If it is possible can somebody give me a Dummies guide cheers

to the forum.

You need to purchase and install a program called POI-Warner, if you look at some other posts in the Medion part of the forum you will find some more information on this for your unit, but note that to use that program you do NOT need to hack the software as some have done.

thanks for the reply so do i take it that i cannot just load the speed camera file to the POI folder that comes with the system as this is all i really require?

I am not sure if you can load the them directly to your unit, even if you could you would not be able to get a sound warning which I find is the most important thing.

i am also new to the medion md 95900, is there anyone out there who knows of a program to convert into win ce.net . i tried the one for the mrdion 150
but it does`nt quite work. hope someone knows how. ken

Hi,

Complete biff here with pc's etc and i have the new pna from aldi (not the pda) and just wondering "pocket gps" if your program "the link at the bottom of your forum posts" is compatable with this new aldi machine?

i see alot mentioned about not having to hack the pna is this correct and how do i do it please... Confused

It is correct, the os does not have to be hacked to install poi warner. Simply download the file, connect the medion to your pc and runthe file. This will install poi warner directly to the medion. poi warner can then be accessed thru a small green sqaure in the bottom left hand corner.
