Tom Tom 5 bluetooth more than one device?

After looking through these forums i get the impression that tt5 no longer grabs the bluetooth connection exclusively. does anyone know if this is correct? and if so does that mean that i might be able to install say a bluetooth hands free for my xda 2 if i upgrade to tt5

You have misinterpreted the issue. Previous TomTom versions occupied the outgoing serial port and didn't allow other software to use the GPS. This did not affect hardware like BT headsets - those use different services.
