How do I exit TT2 GPS????

Hi,



Seems a silly question but, when I close TT2 the small GPS icon is running in the task bar, but there seems to be no way to actually exit this piece of software short of a soft reboot!

How do I exit the programme completely?

What you need to do is use iTask if you're running an iPAQ or something like WisBar or Icbar as these will not only skin the title bar, but also give you a program manager allowing to close programs properly. Pocket PC 2002 is designed to keep applications still running in background unlike PC's and this can become very annoying when you actually want to close an application.

How are you closing down TTN2?



If you just click on the X at the top of the screen, the program will still be running in memory and the GPS icon remains on the task bar.



But if you close down TTN from "MAP Screen" bottom left click File>Exit it should remove TTN2 from memory and the GPS icon should disappear.

Yep thats it, I assumed the "X" was for shutting down just as in PC programmes, thanks for that.

If you install something like Omega one s Battery Barthe 'X'button has two functions: Tap to send application to the background, or tap and hold to fully close the application.

David, go to the map mode, click File -> Exit - which will make your TTN2 exit completely...
