I recently bought a similar battery extender as featured from Ebay, not as square but rectanglular in shape. I am using 4 normal AA Duracell Plus 1.5V (MN1500) batteries and find that the power light comes on on the extender but it doesnt seem to charge my Ipaq...any ideas?

Cheers

Rich

I suspect there isn't enough juice left in the batteries. Have you got a battery meter ?

Dave

Cheers for the reply, forgot to mention that they are brand new batteries. Would it be better to use a higher grade of rechargable batteries? Although Duracell are supposed to be pretty reliable.

four brand new AA batteries should give close to 6V, enough to get the PDA charging. Did you measure the output yet with a multimeter? I have the same battery extender, and it works fine for me, charging the PDA up to three times on one set of batteries.
