Tomtom 5upgrade - POST CODES NOT WORKING - HELP!!!!!

Hi there, I consider myself to be fairly computer savvy. I installed the upgrade yesterday and its running fine. Used it last night for a 170 mile round trip and found it very good.

I think it will take some getting used to, but I like the being able to create my own POI groups as I am a LPG driver and log all the LPG stations as I pass by.

Anway, I installed the postcodes, from what I can see, it put them into a seperate folder called ZIP - I cant click on the file as it says it needs a application to open it.

When I try to navigate via postcode, as I type it in, it only pulls up the city name not a post code address - any idea why this is ?

anyone got the postcodes working ??? - The post codes were the ONLY reason I upgraded and I am not happy about it at present.

Try creating a new folder, in the route of your memory card where the UK map is installed called "TomTom"

This worked for me, as i too didnt have full post codes working.

In essence you need to have 3 folders on you mem card to get this working...
