BT-338 - no need for external ariel for 206?

Hi,
It's been suggested to me that the 338 might get around the problem of the heat reflective windscreen in the Peugeot 206 and mean that I don't need to get an external ariel fitted for Tom Tom Navigator to work on my PDA. Has anyone tried this and can they tell me if it can cope with the reflective windscreens?

I can put my 338 on the dash of my Renault Laguna that has a shielded screen with no problems, I may get a few fixes less than if the unit is at the back of the car but a fix is a fix!
