TTN5 route planning query

When I used TTN3 I used to be-able to plan a route while I was in the house and the GPS hardware was not connected to my PPC. Now I ask TTN5 to route to somewhere and it just sits there saying waiting for a valid GPS signal. It doesn't say navigate from last valid position or from my home location. Does anyone know if TTN5 can be made to work like TTN3in this respect?

In answer to my own question I have just realised that if I go in the advanced planning option you can do exactly what I want to do. Plan a route with no GPS signal or anything!
