Any such thing as an ideal solution?

Hi,
Am very new to the GPS market, but I have an ipaq 3970 which I would like to compliment with a sat nav option. From what I have read and seen the latest tom tom nav 5 is the preferred choice, however I understand the POI does not support mobile speed devices. However, a product like Road Angel does, so is there such a thing of being able to incorporate both?? Obviously the less cost the better, but seeing as I have the pda already, thought I should make best use of it.
Any help would be great. Am currently lost in the deluge of information available!

Welcome to the forums. Keep on reading, TomTom 5 does support safety camera warnings.

The PocketGPS database includes both fixed and mobile speed camera locations. So no worries on that score.
