TT5 UK and European Maps???

I maybe missing something here, but has anyone actually checked that you do get ALL maps of Western Europe with the TT5 upgrade?

The TT website says that you get all CD's but this can be different from actually being able to use them, ie. they ship all the CD's but to use them do you have to pay extra to unlock them?

Some software suppliers often ship all the software but you may only be licensed to use part of it, having then to unlock the rest by purchasing additional licenses.

Just a thought, but needs raising as there could potentially be alot of disgruntled users!

Not really, as you never quite know with Tom Tom, they may mean "gives the opportunity" (if you purchase additional licenses!)

The HP Navigation Pack (AKA TT4) came with CDs for the whole of Western Europe which could be unlocked on-line for a huge amount of money which was stupid if you only wanted one additional country. However, the packaging for that produce never even mentions these CDs. You only find out about them when you open the box. The fact that TT on the website say so clearly that you have the opportunity to use these maps as part of the upgrade suggests they could get into a lot of trouble if they are trying to follow the TT4 model and make people pay to unlock the CDs.

Anyone got an English language copy of the Dutch trading standards code by any chance?
