I am totally new to this on a PDA so i need easy to follow instructions please.
I just cant get tomtom navigator to pair with my bt77 gps reciever.
Firstly on pda i went to settings(connections) bluetooth (turned it on) the the bluetooth manager. tools (paired devices) then selected add. Clicked add then chose the icon and it came up with BT GPS (i entered 0000) enter then ok.
Then new (explore a bluetooth device) and comes as BT GPS:SPP slave. If i double click the shortcut it says connecting and status shows connected and signal just right, and active connections show outgoing as bt gps and spp slave with 5 green bars. Services on bluetooth settings after selecting serial port show all ticked apart from authorization, and advanced show inbound as port 8 and outbound as 6 with a tick on the default device for outgoing connections.
Tomtom GPS shows as v3.03 415/408 and at the moment have tried on NMEA 0183v2 9600 and bluetooth serial port com8 (as i have seen this in an earlier post)

You need to use the outbound port COM6:

COM ports are different across PDAs, don't rely on what you read elsewhere, it may not apply to your machine.

I've got the same set up as you - rx3715 & BT77.
As lutz posted you need to set it to Bluetooth Serial Port COM6, & my other setting is on NMEA 0183v2 Bluetooth.
You might have to get the tomtom gps upgrade to V3.07 though, have read about this somewhere, but cant find it now sorry Sad
