I see we've got Sixteen sticky's and announcements again. I know the TT Go is popular, and they are needed, but can't they ALL be put into a thread called "Sticky's and announcements" on their own. But any urgent ones can be put on front page, then moved at a later date. _________________ Using an A to Z

I agree, its a pain in the ass. However its not made any easier by the buggy forum software, which doesn't highlight the post icons orange to notify the post has not been read yet. |

When you get to the forum index the forums with unread messages are highlighted, but when you enter the forum, new messages are not highlighted. |

Hi ChrisCube and Eldar,
Try this, as it should work.
Clear out your cookies, sign onto pocketgpsworld.com (not pocketgpsworld.com) and use the “View posts since last visit” option and you should see all new post and they will have the orange marker to indicate that you haven’t read them yet.

How about a dividing line after the last 'Sticky' to separate the current posts.
(eBay use a line and it works quite well) |

That would make it a bit easier but wouldn't help with the fact that with so many announcements and stickies, it means we have to navigate through loads more pages. A third of each page is always full before we find the other posts.
Please can we put them all in a singe "announcements" topic? |

I get the same problem with regard to the forum topics with new posts not showing up in orange. Well they do for the first page I visit, then that is it.
It works fine on the SABRE forums which use the exact same software. |
