TomTom Mobile 5 UPGRADE SHIPPING TODAY!

Hi all,

I know there are loads of us that have been waiting for confirmation that the TTM5 software upgrades are shipping.

Well.........today I received an email from them saying that my upgrade has shipped and will be with me in 2 days. They provided a tracking number (via UPS).

Please remember that my upgrade is for Series 60 so I would say that if you are a Series 60 upgrader your upgrade should be on the way. As for the other options we'll have to wait for confirmation from others before we'll know if they are all on their way.

I will update this thread with my thoughts once I've received it and had a chance to play with it.

I also hope that it's more stable on my 6630 than 4.43 because the whole bluetooth bonding issue was driving me nuts!

Woo Me too. This morning I sent them an e mail telling them the legalities of taking my money without shipping, then they replied that they hadn't taken my money yet. So i logged onto my online bank account and took a screen shot showing they DID take my money and used paint to draw a red circle around the transaction and attached it, and low and behold my Item is shipped just short of 4 weeks after my order was made, I'm a happy bunny. So anyone having trouble just threaten them with legal action and your item will be shipped that day.

My order was placed on the 22nd April and my card was debited May 10th, It's only because I sent a screen shot of my bank account showing the amount on my statement and threatened them with legal action and it was shipped within hours I advise you to do the same.

Payment taken 9th May.

At least there seems to be some movement now from Tomtom with some orders starting to ship.
Which seems to have been prompted by the release of the retail version.
If anyone else gets a shipped status to their order can they post to give us some idea how many are shipping at the moment.

Heres hoping we all get our long over-due upgrades very soon!

Everyone also needs to remember that the software is shipped on different memory cards and for different phones.

We know that the software for the Series 60's are being shipped but the others may be a little way behind.

My 5 weeks are up on Wednesday-still waiting for the status to change to shipped.
As the symbian version is shipping and i am waiting for the smartphone version-has anyone had their windows smartphone TTM 5 upgrade shipped yet Question

I have now cancelled my order and requested a refund, which they say they are now processing the refund. Wonder how long that will take!
