NMEA 2.01 $GPRMC Date Problem

Hello,
I've been writing a program for a NAVMAN Pocket PC and when I read the incoming NMEA data everything seems to be ok except the date. In the GPRMC string I get something like:
$GPRMC,200348.946,A,4435.3424,N,12317.7632,W,0.10,197.40,311224,,*1B

Usually, the date would be interpreted as 12/31/2024 which doesn't make sense. Is the date in a different format or is there some other problem? Thanks for all the help!

The problem is your receiver. It has the week cycle wrong. We're now in cycle 2, and it probably thinks it's in cycle 3. One cycle is 1024 weeks.

Try to factory reset your receiver.
