GPS Trollies

Apparently (according to Yahoo today) shoppers are to be getting GPS guided trollies! Hmmm...... either we're getting open air (Glass roofed) shops or maybe they are using their own hovering satellites? sounds a bit iffy to me, opinons??

Yeah, I saw it myself, after my Girlfriend (who passed her driving test today) sent me the link. Hmmm, the shop will have to accurately log the location of all of its products and then (if it's like my local super market) it'll move everything around and nobody (including the GPS) will know where any goods are.



Mind you, it'll be fun to push a trolley around with a RAM mount holding a PocketPC on the handlebar!!!

I suspect it's probably more to track the trollies when people run off with them.
