I have tried to install the latest version of GPSAssist (1.33) on to my Fujitsu Pocket Loox Pocket PC. I have tried both the main memory and also on my 512mb CF Card uninstalling in between.
The problem that I have is when I try to run GPSAssist I get the following message:
GPSAssist.vb
There is no application associated with “GPSAssist”. Run the application first and then open this file from within the application.
I then open TomTom Navigator 2.2 and try the GPAssist software but I still get the same error message.
I would appreciate any assistance that you could give me as I am keen to try out this software.
Thanks a lot

have the same problem. On installation states file pimstore.dll in use by program or in ROM. Have renamed this file and re-installed, but still shows message as with PJ.
Any help greatly received - would like to try this well commented on program add-on for TTN2
cheers

It's okay if you get the Pimstore message, it just means that you have the correct DLL on the Pocket PC to cope with interfacing with the Personal Information Manager, eg contacts and outlook inbox.
You shouldn't rename this file, just skip/ignore this. This might well be causing the VB error. Can you give it a try ? |

thanks for your response Dave.
I renamed the file back to original and skipped the comment, but I still get same message as PJ-UK when I attempt to start GPAssist 'run application first' - a bit frustrating. Any further help received would be appreciated -- Dave. _________________ mike |
