I WAS JUST ABOUT TO BUY THE EMTAC FROM EXPANSYS ,WHEN I SPOTTED A LITTLE INFO ON THE NEW BLUETOOTH NAVMAN 4400.

I MUST SAY I LIKE THE LOOK OF IT ,AND IT OFFERS SOME GOOD MOUNTS.I HAVE NEVER USED A GPS,TO GIVE ANY FORM OF RUNNING DIFFERENCES,AND THEIR WAS NO PRICE GIVEN.DO YOU THINK YOU WILL BE ABLE TO RUN TT ON IT AS I SEEM TO REMEMBER THE 3400 WILL ONLY RUN SMART STREETS.

I suspect it is the other way round. The 3000/3400 sleeve can run a lot of routing software. It is the SmartST Pro software that is restricted to the 3000/3400 sleeve.



It would be very silly of NavMan to release their own hardware and not allow thier software to connect to it. It will have a BT serial interface so should work with any software that can handle BT serial ports and is not locked to specific hardware.
