Hi folks,
I recently put V5 onto my TTgo & also re-installed the camera database, I just noticed that whilst traveling the cameras flash up on screen as usual, but i dont get my audible warning (polite 1) which i need, as we dont constantly look at our TTgo screen.
many thanks, can you help?

Hi stanmo,

If you’re not getting an audible warning, are you getting any visual warning at all, of approaching cameras etc?

I don’t have a TTGO, but I suspect that if you have just upgraded the software from 4.xx to 5.xx then you may have to check that all of your Proximity Alerts are still set up. If they’re not, then you’ll have to read add them.

Are the instructions for adding POIs to the TTGO (and setting up Proximity Alerts) correct for version 5.xx?

Regards,

A lot of us had this problem. You just have to plough through the "Warn when near PoI" menu and reset the sound for each one.

Yes, even though the little loudspeaker symbol shows against the PoI in the list Rolling Eyes
