Software for the USA?

I'm off to Montana for some backpacking around the Glacier National Park in October.



I currently have an IPAQ with an EMTAC BT running TTN2 and Memerory-Map.



What would be the best (cheapest even) digital option for me for:



1. Getting around the Montana road system from Billings Airport to the park etc.



2. Getting around the park with topographical maps based on multi-day back-country routes. (I will have a paper map and compass for back-up regardless)



Also, do US cars have the same cigar lighter sockets as in the UK?

Cigar/accessory sockets are identical, same voltage so should be okay. I would think you're probably looking at topographical maps here, and probably Fugawi or OziExplorer would be best here. I'm sure there's probably some downloadable digital maps that you could use, although you would need to calibrate these.
