|
|
Hi, I recently bought myself an HP iPAQ RZ1710 Palm which came with TomTom Navigator HP Edition on it - I was happy using before until I went on holiday but since being back, I haven't used my palm until today which the battery required charging up.
Done that, hocked up the palm in the car and went to use the Navigation Software but when I click on 'TomTom' icon, I get the Legal Notice green screen appear, then click 'I agree', then "NO MAPS FOUND" message appears.
Searched through the manuals on the TomTom disks but can't find anything about it, nor can I find anything within the TomTom website.
Has anyone else had this problem and could someone point me in the direction of how I can resolve this.
Cheers in advance |

Are you talking about 'iPAQ File Store' location?? Sorry I'm new to this.
If so, then File Explorer doesn't list any files. |

The location would be "Storage Card" . if you don't find this on your Pocket PC then you need to get that sorted first - try a soft reset, and if that doesn't help, remove the SD card, do the soft reset, and re-insert the card. _________________ Lutz

Thank you - I have taken out the SD Card, then done a warm reboot, put the SD Card back in and started TT, now is has found the GB Map and when I click on 'File Explorer', i can now see the SD Card directory.
TT Support also replied back to me today advising the same but also mentioned that HP are aware of this problem but now have a fix for it...
From TT Support
===========
If your TomTom HP Navigation Pack if the 1710 PDA is showing no maps found may we suggest to resolve this issue that you follow the 4 application steps below in order to resolve this issue.
1. Remove the SD card from the 1710 PDA
2. Perform a soft reset by inserting a paperclip into the small hole at the bottom of your 1710.
3. Replace the SD card
4. Start the application
This application should restore the maps onto your 1710 pda however in the rare case that this problem persists may we suggest that you follow the further supplied steps below:
1.Format card (for users without a card reader use FlashFormat from www.cnetx.com)
2.Remove all TomTom apps from the PDA
3.Reinstall Application (from CD 4) onto internal memory of the PDA
4.Reinstall map onto SD card.
Please note that HP are aware of this and have a new download designed to rectify the problem completely, if you go to the following link you will find it.
