hi I have just bought tom tom with a hp pocket pc. At the moment I am having trouble getting tom tom to recognize addresses in my contacts program downloaded from outlook. it is not a bad address problem as i can type in the address manually axactly the same as in the contacts prog and it finds it straight away can any one help?

Well, something will be different. TomTom is very picky (read: stupid) when it comes to accepting addresses from your contacts. Most of the times this doesn't work unless you cave in and change the contact details to what TomTom expects. _________________ Lutz

I still cant see what is wrong I even typed in my own addreess into tomtom and it found it straight away. Yet when i typed the exact same address into the contacts tomtom came back with "can't find address" |

did you specify the house number before or after the street name? Is that consistent with what TomTom expects? _________________ Lutz

I have tried both ways.also when i ask it to go to the address it brings up the address to check everything seems to be in the right place including the house no in its own box.. I think it is a programing bug.
