Newbie Ipaq 3870

Hi guys im a total newbie but have just bought the Ipaq 3870 with this spec:

Bluetooth
Full UK Sat Nav GPS software
& major routes of Europe
(with spoken instructions and moving 3D maps and routes)
Sync Cradle &
Desk Charger
Stylus
128 mb SD card
Speed Camera Warning System

Will i need anything else to go with this system ? Ive used the search function but brings up loads of posts will i need a GPS reciever and anything else you can think of ? Any help would be much apprecited also anyone else have one

hey

i have the same unit.

you will need a GPS receiver. i'd recommend a non-bluetooth one as it is more stable and generally picks up more satellites. the GPS receiver usually has its own 12v power and you must request the correct connector fpr the H3800 series when buying.

you will also need a car PDA holder (usually has a removable window sucker or air vent clip) to install into a vehicle.

the 128MB card you will find is 'just' big enough once you put on updated speed cameras, UK Postcode. i'd recommend a 256MB SD memory card soonish.
