Nokia 6230 GPS?

Hi,

Can the Nokia 6230 be used for GPS in anyway? I've read someone on here say something about trying to write something for it, and mention of TT Traffic, but I don't know what these are really.

hi,

nokia 6230 can`t run sat nav software as its only a symbian series 40 phone.

you need a symbian series 60 or above.........

i.e 6600, 7610, 6670 6630 N-gage

Since posting this I've read up on GPS and have fallen in love with the TomTom Rider. Looks like it's going to be a bit too pricy for me though! Sad

I don't know of anyone who has yet produced SatNav SW (i.e. route planner, route navigation).

6230 is not Symbian so you have to look for Mobile Java applications rather than Symbian applications.
