Vista C with Atlantic Basemap - what works in Caribbean?

Am off on holiday to Antigua and want to take my Vista C with me whilst doing some day sailing and cycling on the island.

Canb I replace the base map with another ? If so how do I do it - assume I can buy it from Garmin?

You can't update your basemap but you have 24Mb of internal memory into which you can put data from various Garmin maps. For your holiday you could invest in the Garmin Americas Bluechart maps, which you can read about by clicking here. There is a link to a vendor here and another one here.
